These Foods Can Stain Your Teeth Easily

You don't have to avoid these items, but be careful and rinse your mouth and brush your teeth after eating them.

Teeth cleaning and polishing are part of your hygiene routine and improve your appearance. A white smile is charming.

If you have been noticing some stains on your teeth lately, time to cut back on certain foods.

1. Citrus & Acidic Fruits:  Are your teeth yellow? It may be due to eating toomany lemons, oranges, and tomatoes. Even though these are full of Vitamin C and other nutrients, they erode the thin enamel, revealing the somewhat yellow dentin beneath.

2. Coffee:  Caffeine enthusiasts, your daily cup may harm your teeth. Dark liquids like tea, coffee, and soda can get lodged in dental enamel ridges and fissures, causing yellow stains if not cleansed.

3. Berries:  Blackberries, blueberries, and pomegranates are antioxidant-rich but can discolor teeth. These brightly colored berries can stain garments.

4. Wine:  Consuming red and white wine can discolor white teeth. Red wine includes tannins that can stain teeth, but white wine is acidic and forms little spaces on the teeth where food remains can accumulate and discolor them.

5. Balsamic vinegar and other fermented sauces:  Balsamic vinegar creates a light salad dressing and soy sauce is our favorite soup topping, but both can discolor teeth.
