LSU's Kim Mulkey Describes What Changed After Auburn Loss

LSU women's basketball lost 67-62 to Auburn on Jan. 14. After losing to Colorado to start the season, the Tigers lost their first game after a 16-game win streak.

Since then, the Tigers have won two conference games without a fight. LSU defeated Alabama 78-58 and Arkansas 99-68.

LSU head coach Kim Mulkey recently acknowledged the team's mindset shift following losing to Auburn. Tigers are 18-2 and 5-1 in conference.

Composure. Leadership in action. Mulkey told On3 that at Auburn, we all wanted someone to make a play, even me as a coach.

Tonight, they played confidently, freely, passing the ball up the floor and being active. The audience enjoyed it and it was an entertaining game.
