Chocolate Dessert with Toffee Flavor - Recipe

We don't use powdered milk in this recipe, which gives classic chocolate blocks their unique flavor and appearance. An alternative Polish food product will form the base. We use it in creams and cakes. For toffee, we need:


– a can of condensed milk, – 4 tablespoons of cocoa, – a tablespoon of butter, – nuts, tea biscuits or other kinds of dried fruit and nuts.

Method of preparation:

1. Add cocoa and all condensed milk to a thick-bottomed pot. Ensure the components are well mixed to avoid separation.

2. Continuously whisk everything over low heat. Bring to a boil.

3. Add butter and melt simultaneously. Keep heating the mass slowly until it thickens. We must stir or the pot will burn and the dish will taste bad.

4. Add nuts and tea cookies to the mass.

5. Pour chocolate toffee on a foil-lined baking sheet. Firmly press. Let it cool.

6. The dessert will thicken in two hours in the fridge, ready to eat.
