Cardiologist Consume 3 Supplements Every Day

The Three Supplements are-  folic acid, B12, and D pills.

Folic acid

Folic acid is vitamin B9 in synthetic form.

Belardo advised all childbearing women to use it. Belardo, in her 30s, takes a folic acid-containing multivitamin daily.

The CDC advises women to take 400 micrograms of folic acid daily.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is present in meat, dairy, eggs, and fish but not plants, vegans may have trouble getting it.

However, vitamin B12 is needed to make red blood cells and DNA.

Vegans and vegetarians are more likely to have vitamin B12 deficiency, which can cause hand and foot pain and fatigue.

Vitamin D

Calcium absorption, muscle cramping, inflammation, and immunological function may be improved by vitamin D.

Belardo said genetics and environment can also cause vitamin D insufficiency.

"Vitamin D depends on where you live, how much sun exposure you have, and different genetic factors, and how much of fortified foods you're eating with vitamin D as well."
